Cookie Policy

1. What we use

StepUp Restaurant OS uses a small number of cookies and browser local-storage entries. We do not use advertising, analytics or cross-site tracking cookies.

2. Essential storage (always on)

• Sign-in session — keeps you logged in between pages and visits. Without it the staff workspace cannot function.
• Cookie consent choice — remembers whether you accepted or limited cookies, so we don't ask on every visit.

3. Third-party cookies

When you pay through the Razorpay checkout, Razorpay may set its own cookies on its payment pages to process the transaction securely and prevent fraud. Those are governed by Razorpay's own policies. If you sign in with Google, Google may set cookies as part of that sign-in flow.

4. Your choices

• Use the consent banner (shown on your first visit) to accept all or keep essential storage only.
• You can clear cookies and site data at any time in your browser settings; doing so signs you out.
• Choosing "Essential only" does not affect any core feature, because we do not run non-essential trackers.

5. Updates

If we ever add a new kind of cookie, we will update this page and ask for consent again where required.
